Michelle Cronin
Michelle is dedicated to supporting leaders navigating complexity, scaling impact, and breaking new ground as change-makers.
Professional and Leadership Experience
Michelle brings over 22 years of global technology leadership experience to her coaching practice, with 14 years at Google across sales, people development, and diversity & inclusion, followed by roles as Head of People Development for APAC at Uber and Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for APAC at Meta (7 years across 19 sites in 13 countries).
Her expertise sits at the intersection of strategic leadership, cross-cultural intelligence, and authentic human connection. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique pressures facing leaders in today's dynamic technology landscape, particularly those who are pioneering change whilst managing the challenges of being "the only" in their role.
Education and Professional Training
Michelle holds an MSc in Advertising from Dublin Institute of Technology and a BA in English and Psychology from University College Cork. She is a certified integral coach with additional certifications in Insights Discovery, Situational Leadership, Realise2, and DiSC®. Her approach to coaching is deeply informed by seven years as a Women's Aid Helpline Volunteer, where she developed comprehensive skills in crisis support, active listening, and trauma-informed communication. This experience profoundly shapes her ability to create psychological safety and support clients through challenging transitions.
Coaching Expertise, Experience & Enthusiasms
Michelle specialises in coaching leaders, particularly in dynamic industries such as technology, who are stepping into bigger visibility, dealing with imposter syndrome, or challenging existing systems. She is particularly passionate about working with leaders navigating the complexity of driving meaningful change whilst staying authentic to their values.
Her coaching focus areas include diversity, equity & inclusion, gender dynamics, and life transitions such as perimenopause and becoming a parent. She works primarily with emerging leaders, experienced leaders, executives, and female leaders who are often breaking new ground in their organisations.
Michelle's clients describe her as "direct but never harsh" - someone who asks difficult questions with genuine care whilst creating space for complete honesty without judgement. She helps leaders connect their values to professional goals in ways that feel both strategic and authentic.
Personal Details
Michelle is an Irish-South African dual citizen who has lived across Ireland, Australia, and Singapore. This multicultural journey has taught her that there are many ways to lead and succeed, a perspective that deeply informs her coaching approach.
She is raising two children in Singapore who keep her grounded and curious about different ways of being in the world. Michelle leads a monthly APAC diversity & inclusion roundtable and believes strongly in connection over isolation. She recharges through painting, travel, diving, and yoga - activities that keep her open to new possibilities and grounded in authentic connection.
Michelle's philosophy is captured in her favourite quote: "It's better to regret what you have done than what you haven't" - reflecting her belief that our greatest challenges become our greatest strengths, and that success doesn't require leaving pieces of yourself behind.
