What does a leadership coach actually do?

Leadership coaching is one of the most fast growing coaching niches but what do they actually do? In this video I dive right into that. Any type of coaching is about working with your clients as a person and in leadership coaching the principle remains the same. Most of the time leadership coaches will be employed by an organisation to help improve the performance of their teams, leaders or help people to develop confidence to step into a leadership role. Traditionally it would be senior leaders who have coaching now we're seeing leadership coaches working with a whole range of people : there are coaches who specialise with new leaders, emerging leaders and future leaders as well as those who work with those who are more established. If you're wanting to have an impact in your role training as a leadership coach is a great thing to do (remember when you're looking at training the most important thing is that your coach training is ICF accredited : you don't need to specialise in your initial training as robust coach training like what we offer at Optimus means you'll be equipped to work with leaders). Please don't forget to like, comment and subscribe.
