Angela Cheung is an award-winning video consultant, corporate trainer and mentor with over 25 years of industry experience.

She previously led creative teams at Disney, MTV, Fremantle and other renowned organisations. She is now a sought-after trainer in presenting and communication, video storytelling and people skills. In 2020, Angela was recognised as one of Hong Kong's Top 50 Influencers at the Hong Kong Living Influencer Awards.

Angela's distinguished career in digital media and entertainment demonstrates her ability to drive transformation and growth across multiple sectors. As Managing Director at APV, she showcased her business acumen by doubling revenue and successfully leading the company through its acquisition by Casual. During her tenure as Consulting Producer at Goodnotes, she worked with one of the world's most popular note-taking apps, serving over 24 million monthly users.

 

Her profound impact on Asia's media landscape was particularly evident as Regional Director of Production at Walt Disney Television Asia Pacific, where she spearheaded the company's ambitious expansion, launching 11 channels and crafting original content strategy. Her innovative leadership continued as Regional Director of Broadcast Marketing at Hong Kong Disneyland, where she established a new department focused on original content that achieved a remarkable 12% increase in park interest within its first year.

 

Her extensive media expertise includes key positions at Fremantle Asia, where she led the production of globally recognised television formats, and at MTV, where she developed her foundation in content creation and production.

Angela currently sits on the Communications and Development board of Bai Xian Asia Institute (BXAI) and is a faculty member of the Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies, Bhutan (RIGSS).

She recently helped a multinational company develop their in-house video team. Filming with just their phones and using free AI-powered video software, four interns produced a remarkable 208 videos in just 4 months. 

2. Workshops: She runs workshops for corporate clients, professionals and students. There are three main training buckets: 1)Presenting and communication 2) Video storytelling for business 3) People skills. Her sessions are known to be super practical, interactive and enjoyable. She provides one-on-one/small group coaching in these areas too.

3. Training and mentoring: Angela loves mentoring students and fresh graduates, and offers guidance to companies on overseeing their interns and junior creative teams.
