Our Story

Bamboo Being is a learning and development practice and community founded by Sue Adams in Singapore in 2007.

Our "Why?"

We support people to be more effective in their endeavours and to work and live with greater ease and enjoyment.

Our "Where?"

We most often work within the context of Organisational Development, with leaders and executives, but we always widen the lens to include the whole of life. We believe that development happens within a context that is important to explore.

Our "How?"

Our approach is interdisciplinary and holistic. It is a 'top-down' philosophical approach, exploring how you interpret the world and also a 'bottom-up' physiological approach exploring how you habitually inhabit it.

We also take an integrated approach to coaching and development so a programme for an individual or team might tap on a whole community of expert guides and coaches.

Our "What?"

Whether coaching, facilitating or teaching, we work according to our principles of being integrative, purposeful, co-creative, pragmatic and generative.

Our "Who?"

We are honoured to work with leading global organizations in the public sector, B2B and B2C industries ........but fundamentally our work is H2H (human to human).

  • We help our clients become aware of how distinct perspectives and parts can be integrated into alignment with a greater whole.

  • We support them to bring fresh possibilities to life by combining seemingly opposing forms and approaches.

  • We help them get to the heart of what matters in any given situation and generate new paths forward by taking small but purposeful steps.

Connection is why we are here. We are hard-wired to connect with others, it's what gives purpose and meaning to our lives, and without it there is suffering.
